Summary
MVP has launched a collaboration with CAQH to allow credentialed providers to efficiently update and verify their demographic data through the CAQH Provider Data Portal. Providers must review and confirm the accuracy of their directory information at least every 90 days to maintain compliance. MVP will receive provider data from CAQH, except for registered and delegated credentialed providers who should continue updating their CAQH applications directly.

By April 1, 2026: Providers credentialed with MVP must establish a process to review and attest to their demographic data in the CAQH Provider Data Portal at least every 90 days. Billing team should: (1) Notify all MVP-credentialed providers of this new requirement; (2) Create a calendar reminder system for 90-day demographic verification cycles; (3) Track completion of provider attestations; (4) Flag any providers who fail to complete their 90-day verification to compliance/credentialing staff. Note: Registered and delegated credentialed providers should continue updating CAQH applications as usual and are not subject to the CAQH Portal requirement. Failure to comply with the 90-day review requirement could impact provider credentialing status and claims processing.
