Starting mid-July 2026, Ohio Medicaid and MyCare Ohio providers can schedule and cancel Peer-to-Peer (P2P) conversations online through the Availity Essentials platform instead of calling or emailing. This enhancement applies to physical health and behavioral health services only, while pharmacy P2P requests continue using the existing process.

By mid-July 2026: Staff responsible for P2P conversations should learn to use the new online scheduling feature in Availity Essentials at https://Availity.com. Access the appropriate payer space tile and use the new P2P scheduling functionality for physical health and behavioral health services. Continue using phone/email for pharmacy P2P requests.
