Primary Entity Contacts must ensure their email addresses in PEMS match their STEPS registration to access financial compliance reports, with collection beginning July 20, 2026.

Before July 20, 2026: Primary Entity Contact must verify their email address in PEMS matches their STEPS registration email. If different, update the PEC email in PEMS following Step 5 on page 10 of the STEPS User Guide. Register for STEPS system access as soon as possible. Contact HHSC at 1-737-86-STEPS if assistance needed. Failure to match email addresses will prevent Financial Compliance Reports from populating in STEPS.
