Summary
AHCCCS has delayed payment process changes for FQHCs and RHCs originally scheduled for January 1, 2015. Additionally, CPT codes 88342 and 88343 for immunohistochemistry will be replaced with HCPCS codes G0461 and G0462 effective January 1, 2015.
Action Required
By January 1, 2015: Billing team must update billing system to replace CPT codes 88342 and 88343 with HCPCS codes G0461 and G0462 respectively for immunohistochemistry procedures. Update encounter forms and staff training materials. Note that FQHC and RHC payment process changes are delayed and should not be implemented.
