Summary
AHCCCS is transitioning to a new financial system effective July 1, 2015, changing Fee for Service provider payment schedules and consolidating all payments into single weekly disbursements on Thursdays. By June 30, 2015: Billing team must prepare for new payment schedule where AHCCCS FFS payments will be consolidated and paid weekly on Thursdays starting July 16th. For FQHC/RHC providers: Update claim submission procedures to properly handle Medicare crossover claims by submitting void/replacement claims with section 22 completed using 'V' code and crossover claim number when Medicare coding doesn't match AHCCCS requirements.
