Summary
AHCCCS (Arizona Medicaid) is creating a new provider type for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) effective October 1, 2016. BCBAs must register with AHCCCS by August 15, 2016, or they cannot submit claims for services starting October 1, 2016.
Action Required
By August 15, 2016: Any Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) providing services must submit AHCCCS provider registration packet to become registered with designation 'BC'. Claims for BCBA services cannot be submitted starting October 1, 2016 without an active AHCCCS-registered BCBA as the rendering provider.
