By December 12, 2019: Submit any new provider applications, reactivation requests, or changes to existing AHCCCS provider profiles before the system conversion freeze. By January 1, 2020: Providers must use electronic prescribing systems for all Schedule II opioid prescriptions - paper prescriptions will no longer be accepted. Pharmacies must be able to receive electronic controlled substance prescriptions.
