Summary
AHCCCS has identified a critical issue with the Transaction Insight Portal where providers selecting 'Non-Person Entity (2)' must leave the Provider First Name field completely blank, or their attachments will not link to claims and will be denied for missing documentation. The policy also includes updated medication request forms for IHS and 638 Tribal facilities and various system updates including direct service address updates in APEP.
Action Required
Immediately: All staff using the Transaction Insight Portal (TIBCO/TI Portal) must ensure that when selecting 'Non-Person Entity (2)', the Provider First Name field is left completely blank. Update internal procedures and train staff on proper portal submission to prevent claim denials for missing documentation. Billing team should review any recent denied claims that may be affected by this issue.
