Summary
Starting September 1, 2026, Priority Health will require transplant and NICU authorization requests to be submitted through their new Provider Portal instead of by fax. The old GuidingCare tool will be retired and replaced with Epic's platform, requiring all providers to create new portal accounts.
Action Required
Before September 1, 2026: Register for new Priority Health Provider Portal account (old prism accounts will not work). Billing team must transition all NICU and transplant authorization submissions from fax to the new portal. Complete authorization training webinars offered this summer. Note: Medicare members can still use fax but portal is preferred. Failure to register may cause authorization delays.
