Summary
Starting January 1, 2027, Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) members must complete 80 hours of work or community engagement monthly to maintain coverage, unless exempt. Provider resources and toolkits will be available at myfssa.in.gov beginning July 6, 2026.

By July 6, 2026: Review comprehensive partner toolkit at myfssa.in.gov for HIP work requirement resources including FAQs and core messaging. Begin educating HIP patients about new work requirements when they receive informational notices starting in July 2026. Update patient communication processes to address coverage questions related to work requirements.
