Security Health Plan is partnering with CoverMyMeds to streamline pharmacy prior authorizations across all lines of business. Effective July 1, 2026, all pharmacy benefit prior authorization requests must be submitted online through CoverMyMeds.com instead of traditional fax or phone methods.

By July 1, 2026: All staff submitting pharmacy prior authorizations must transition to using CoverMyMeds.com portal instead of fax or phone. Create CoverMyMeds accounts, train staff on the electronic system for initiating, tracking and resolving authorization requests. Update workflow procedures to use the online platform for all Security Health Plan pharmacy benefit prior authorizations.
