Summary
Nevada Medicaid has automatically reprocessed claims from physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurse midwives that were paid incorrectly under updated rates effective January 1, 2024. Results of this second round of reprocessing will appear on December 6, 2024 remittance advice.
Action Required
By December 6, 2024: Billing team must review remittance advice for reprocessed Nevada Medicaid claims with dates of service January 1, 2024 or later that were processed before October 14, 2024. Verify additional payments received and identify any new claim denials that may require appeals per Medicaid Services Manual Chapter 100.
