Nevada Medicaid now covers behavioral health integration services using the Collaborative Care Model for physicians, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, and physician assistants. Four new psychiatric collaborative care management codes are now billable, and previously denied claims will be automatically reprocessed.

Immediately: Billing team should verify that Nevada Medicaid claims for CPT codes 99492, 99493, 99494, and G2214 can now be submitted by provider types 20, 24, 74, and 77. Monitor upcoming remittance advice for automatically reprocessed claims that were previously denied with error code 4801. No action needed for past denials as they will be reprocessed automatically.
