Summary
Nevada Medicaid is implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all providers accessing the Provider Web Portal and PASRR system starting January 22, 2025. Each user must register for their own individual PWP account as shared accounts will no longer be allowed.
Action Required
By January 22, 2025: All Nevada Medicaid providers must set up individual PWP accounts with Multi-Factor Authentication. Billing team and providers must verify they have personal accounts (not shared), delegates must confirm registration for serviced providers, and complete MFA setup using phone number or app tied to single user. Review EVS User Manual Chapter 1 and Nevada Medicaid YouTube training videos. Failure to set up MFA will prevent access to Provider Web Portal for claims submission and eligibility verification.
