Summary
Nevada Medicaid is allowing substance use treatment providers (PT 93) who were previously terminated as PT 17 providers to backdate their new enrollment effective date to April 1, 2025. This applies to providers with specialties 704, 707, or 708 who were previously enrolled as methadone clinics or substance use agencies.
Action Required
Nevada substance use treatment providers only: If your practice was previously enrolled as PT 17 (Special Clinics) with specialty 171 or 215 and was terminated March 31, 2025, contact Nevada Medicaid to request backdating your new PT 93 enrollment to April 1, 2025. This will prevent gaps in billing coverage for services provided since April 1st.
