Summary
Nevada Medicaid has fixed a system error where adult vaccine claims with NDC codes were incorrectly denying with error code 868. Claims will now process correctly, and previously denied claims from July 30, 2024 forward will be automatically reprocessed.

Monitor upcoming remittance advice for automatically reprocessed adult vaccine claims with dates of service from July 30, 2024 forward. Review any new denials that may result from reprocessing and appeal if necessary according to Medicaid Services Manual Chapter 100 guidelines.
