Summary
Nevada Medicaid has corrected a system error where Provider Type 29 (Home Health Agency and Private Duty Nursing Services) claims were processed using incorrect urban/rural member address designations. Claims from March 17, 2025 to July 21, 2025 that paid incorrectly will be automatically reprocessed with corrected member residential addresses.
Action Required
Monitor future remittance advice for reprocessed claims with dates of service from March 17, 2025 to July 21, 2025. Be prepared that reprocessed claims may result in no additional payment or new denials due to system edits. Review any denied reprocessed claims and appeal if appropriate within required timeframes per Medicaid Services Manual Chapter 100.
