Summary
Nevada Medicaid has added rates for new Quarter 2 2025 CPT, HCPCS, and ADA codes to their system. Claims with these new codes will now process normally instead of being suspended, and previously suspended claims with error code 853 will be automatically reprocessed.
Action Required
By July 7, 2025: Nevada providers can resume submitting claims with new Quarter 2 2025 codes without suspension. Monitor future remittance advice for results of automatically reprocessed claims that were previously suspended with error code 853. Be prepared for potential denials upon reprocessing due to other system edits.
