Summary
Effective November 17, 2025, Nevada Medicaid now allows Behavioral Health Outpatient Treatment providers (PT 14), Community Health Workers (PT 89), and Peer Support Services providers (PT 97) to enroll with managed care entities without linking to a group. This change only applies to providers rendering services through Medicaid managed care organizations, not fee-for-service providers.
Action Required
Immediately: Behavioral health practices in Nevada with Provider Types 14, 89, or 97 should review current provider enrollment status. If individual providers need to enroll with Nevada Medicaid managed care entities, they can now submit Initial applications without group linkage requirements. Contact Nevada Medicaid provider enrollment to update applications as needed.
