Summary
Nevada Medicaid has transitioned managed care to rural areas with two MCOs: CareSource and SilverSummit. Providers can continue treating patients temporarily even without contracts, but must verify member enrollment and contact the appropriate MCO for billing guidance and Single Case Agreements.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must verify each Nevada Medicaid patient's MCO enrollment via Provider Web Portal or call (866) 569-1746. Contact member's MCO before billing - CareSource at (833) 230-2112 or SilverSummit at (844) 366-2880. For non-contracted providers, coordinate Single Case Agreements through MCO-specific emails before submitting claims to ensure payment.
