Summary
Effective February 18, 2026, Nevada Medicaid will no longer mail Notice of Decision letters for prior authorization determinations to providers. Providers must now access PA decisions through the Provider Web Portal using the Report Download feature.
Action Required
By February 18, 2026: Billing team and providers must transition to accessing prior authorization decisions through the Nevada Medicaid Provider Web Portal (PWP) Report Download feature instead of waiting for mailed letters. Train staff on PWP User Manual Chapter 10: Report Download procedures. Update workflows to check portal regularly for PA decisions to avoid treatment delays.
