Summary
Nevada Medicaid has added reimbursement rates for new 2026 CPT, HCPCS, and ADA codes to their system. Claims with these codes will now process normally instead of being suspended, and previously suspended claims will be automatically reprocessed.
Action Required
By April 27, 2026: Nevada billing team should monitor remittance advices for results of automatically reprocessed claims that were previously suspended with error code 853. Review any new denials and prepare appeals if necessary according to Medicaid Services Manual Chapter 100 timeframes.
