Summary
Kansas Medicaid will now only reimburse home administration code M0201 when billed together with COVID-19 vaccine administration code 90480. This restriction applies retroactively to all dates of service from January 1, 2024.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must update system to only bill M0201 when paired with COVID-19 vaccine administration code 90480 for Kansas Medicaid patients. Review and resubmit any M0201 claims from January 1, 2024 forward that were billed without 90480 as they will be denied. Monitor KanCare MCO implementation status on KMAP website.
