Summary
Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirements are being extended to home health care services (HHCS) for home health visits, in addition to the existing requirement for home and community-based services. A town hall meeting is scheduled for February 14, 2024 to provide project updates and address provider questions.
Action Required
Before December 3, 2023: Home health providers must implement Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for all home health visits. Register for the February 14, 2024 town hall meeting at 12:00 PM to get project updates and ask questions about EVV implementation. Failure to comply with EVV requirements may result in claim denials.
