Kansas Medicaid now allows Early Childhood Intervention providers to bill procedure code T1017 in both office settings (POS 10) and telehealth (POS 02), expanding from the previous telehealth-only restriction. This change is retroactive to March 2020, and affected claims will be automatically reprocessed.

No action required: Kansas Medicaid will automatically reprocess affected claims for T1017 with POS 10. ECI providers (Case Manager Targeted and Family Service Coordination) can now bill T1017 in office settings without manual claim corrections.
