Summary

The OneCare Kansas (OCK) program under Kansas Medicaid will end on December 31, 2024, with no coverage for OCK services starting January 1, 2025. Members will transition to other care coordination models including CCBHC, Targeted Case Management, or MCO Care Coordination, but all other physical and behavioral health services under KanCare will continue unchanged.

By December 31, 2024: Billing team must stop submitting claims for OneCare Kansas (OCK) program services. Contact KanCare MCOs directly for member transition information: Aetna Better Health (1-855-221-5656), Sunflower Health Plan (1-877-644-4623), or United HealthCare (1-877-542-9238). Continue billing all other physical and behavioral health services under KanCare as usual. Monitor the KanCare Open Claims Resolution Log for MCO system updates and reprocessing dates.
