Summary
Kansas Medicaid has updated reimbursement rates for Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) G-codes effective January 1, 2025. Four new G-codes were added (G0532-G0536), existing rates were updated, and three codes (G2070-G2072) were deleted.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must update fee schedules in billing system with new Kansas Medicaid rates for MAT G-codes effective January 1, 2025. Remove deleted codes G2070, G2071, and G2072 from system. For G2216 claims, ensure dosage is entered in units field (box 24G on 1500 form or FL 46 on UB-04) rounded to nearest whole number with minimum 1mg. Monitor KMAP website for future rate updates as rates are subject to change.
