Summary
Effective May 1, 2025, Kansas Medicaid requires all Specialized Medical Care services on the IDD waiver to be billed exclusively using HCPCS code T1000. This replaces any other billing codes previously used for these services and maintains Electronic Visit Verification requirements.

Before May 1, 2025: Billing team must update system to bill all IDD waiver Specialized Medical Care services using only HCPCS code T1000. Remove any other codes previously used for these services.
