Summary

Starting July 11, 2025, Kansas Medicaid (KMMS) will require multi-factor authentication with a one-time password for every login. User profiles will be reset on that date, requiring users to update their security settings and provide an email address for receiving login codes.

By July 11, 2025: All staff who access Kansas Medicaid KMMS system must be prepared for profile reset at 5 p.m. After reset, users must log in and complete profile update including: confirming security photo/phrase, selecting security questions, and entering email address for one-time password delivery. For each subsequent login, users will need to check email for OTP code and enter it to access the system. Contact KMAP customer service at 1-800-933-6593 option 'Portal' for technical issues.
