Summary
AHCCCS added five new chiropractor service codes (97032, 97035, 97110, 97535, 97140) effective November 1, 2023. Chiropractors must have the appropriate Category of Service (06 or 45) on their provider profile to submit these codes and contact provider enrollment (APEP) for profile updates.

Immediately: Chiropractors verify their provider profile includes Category of Service 06 or 45 to bill the new codes. If missing, contact AHCCCS provider enrollment (APEP) to update profile - medical coding unit cannot make these changes. Billing team should update systems to accept these codes for qualified chiropractors and verify COS requirements before claim submission.
