Summary
Kansas Medicaid (KMAP) is discontinuing support for Provider Electronic Solutions (PES) billing software on October 14, 2025, due to end of Windows 10 support. Providers must transition to the Kansas Modular Medicaid System (KMMS) secure provider portal for EDI transactions.
Action Required
Before October 14, 2025: Billing team must enroll in the KMMS secure provider portal to replace PES software for Kansas Medicaid EDI transactions. Contact Kansas-WEBADMIN@gainwelltechnologies.com to enroll or call 1-800-933-6593 (choose Portal option). Attend one of the town hall meetings on September 9 or 11, 2025, to learn about the transition. Register at the provided Zoom links. After October 14, 2025, PES will no longer work for Medicaid billing.
