Summary
All Kansas KanCare managed care organization (MCO) network providers must be screened and enrolled in the Kansas Medical Assistance Program (KMAP) to receive payments for KanCare members. Providers not actively enrolled with KMAP will have their payments denied by KanCare MCOs starting July 1, 2019.
Action Required
Immediately: All Kansas providers serving KanCare/Medicaid patients must verify KMAP enrollment status by calling 1-800-933-6593. If not enrolled, complete enrollment through the Provider Enrollment Wizard at the KMAP portal. Select which MCOs to send application to during enrollment process. Failure to enroll will result in payment denials for all KanCare member services.
