Summary
Kansas Medicaid (KMAP) has updated reimbursement rates for Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) organizations effective July 1, 2025. New capitation rates are provided for three PACE organizations across different age groups and dual/non-dual populations, with rates set at 90% of the Average Working-age Older Person (AWOP) rate.
Action Required
By July 1, 2025: Billing team must update reimbursement rate tables in billing system for Kansas PACE patients. Update rates for Via Christi Healthcare Outreach, Midland Care PACE, and Bluestem PACE Inc. based on patient age (55-74 vs 75+) and dual eligibility status. Verify patient eligibility and apply correct capitation rates to avoid underpayment.
