Immediately: Billing team must update Kansas Medicaid doula service claims to use the newly approved place of service codes (02, 04, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, 33, 49, 53, 55, 57, 58, 71). Review and resubmit any denied doula claims from July 1, 2024 forward that were rejected for incorrect place of service codes. Check KanCare MCO implementation status on the KMAP Open Claims Resolution Log before billing.
