Summary
AHCCCS Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS-EPD) is changing managed care organizations effective October 1, 2024. Only Health Net Access (Arizona Complete Health) and Arizona Physicians IPA (UnitedHealthcare Community Plan) will provide ALTCS-EPD services statewide. Providers must contract with these new MCOs to continue serving ALTCS-EPD members.
Action Required
Before October 1, 2024: Providers serving ALTCS-EPD members must establish contracts with the new MCOs. Contact Arizona Complete Health-Long Term Care at azchnetdevaltcs@azcompletehealth.com and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan at Ishah_whipple@uhc.com to initiate provider network enrollment. Update billing systems with new payer information and verify member eligibility with correct MCO. Failure to contract with awarded MCOs will result in loss of ALTCS-EPD patient panel.
