Summary
KDADS is transitioning nursing facility provider enrollment, change of ownership, and revalidation processes from manual processing to the KMAP Online Provider Enrollment Wizard System. All new applications and changes must use the online system starting April 28, 2026, with a February 11, 2026 cutoff for grandfathering existing manual applications.
Action Required
Before April 28, 2026: Nursing facilities, nursing facilities for mental health, and ICF-IID facilities must transition to using the KMAP Online Provider Enrollment Wizard System for all new enrollments, change of ownership applications, and revalidations. Facilities should familiarize themselves with the PE Wizard system and prepare required documentation including the new KDADS Provider Agreement which will be available on the effective date.
