Before January 1, 2026: Administrative team must identify which provider types in the practice require the $750 Kansas Medicaid application fee for any new applications, re-enrollments, or reactivations. Prepare payment in check or money order format to 'State of Kansas - Medicaid' for applicable provider types. Verify Medicare enrollment status in PECOS system to determine fee exemptions. Applications without proper payment will be returned.
