Summary

Action Required
By January 1, 2024: Billing team must implement DRG payment methodology for Alaska Medicaid inpatient hospital claims (acute care hospitals only). Register for DSM account at HealtheConnect Alaska to submit service authorizations and enrollment documents electronically instead of fax ($75 annual fee per email). Update provider enrollment fee to $709 for 2024. Begin billing expanded telehealth services using Telehealth Services Temporary Fee Schedule FY 2024 with required modifiers. Attend DRG training sessions via AK Provider Training LMS.
