Alaska Medicaid is updating their Preferred Drug List effective November 1, 2024, and adding prior authorization requirements for numerous new medications including Beqvez, Bimzelx, Rystiggo, and dozens of other drugs. Providers must continue checking PDMP before prescribing opioids and obtain prior authorization for prescriptions exceeding 150 MME.
