Action Required
Immediately: 1) Billing team must submit separate CMS-1500 claims when rendering provider NPI differs between form locators 24J and 31 - claims with multiple rendering providers will be denied. 2) Stop uploading password-protected or encrypted documents - use only unencrypted files and allow 5-7 business days for processing. 3) Use only first 12 digits of AHCCCS Claim Reference Number when uploading attachments, excluding service line numbers. 4) Ensure all behavioral health professionals providing clinical oversight are registered and active with AHCCCS before supervising services.
