Summary
Alaska's Division of Public Assistance has launched a new Medicaid Provider Support Team to help providers with critical Medicaid eligibility issues. Starting March 3, 2025, providers can submit requests through a standardized online form for assistance with hospital presumptive eligibility determinations, newborn enrollments, and medication pickup issues.
Action Required
By March 3, 2025: Alaska Medicaid providers should bookmark the new standardized online form for submitting requests to the Medicaid Provider Support Team. Train staff to use this resource for issues with hospital presumptive eligibility determinations, newborn Medicaid enrollments, and general medication pickup problems at point of sale.
