Summary
New Mexico Medicaid has eliminated fax submissions for Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) prior authorization requests. All ABA providers must now submit requests electronically through the Comagine Health Provider Portal system effective immediately.
Action Required
Immediately: ABA providers must stop using fax for prior authorization requests. Register for Comagine Health Provider Portal by downloading registration packet from https://comagine.org/sites/default/files/resources/nm-medicaid-chpp-registration-packet.pdf and submitting to nmproviders@comagine.org. Complete training videos on portal usage. All future ABA prior authorization requests must be submitted electronically through the portal - fax submissions will no longer be accepted.
