Immediately: Stop collecting all copays and cost sharing from South Dakota Medicaid recipients for claims processed after July 1, 2024. Billing team must update billing software to remove cost sharing deductions for SD Medicaid. Update front desk procedures to stop requesting copays from SD Medicaid patients. This applies to all services including prescriptions, dental, DME, hospital, physician, and clinic services.
