Summary

Action Required
Immediately: Stop collecting copays and cost sharing from all South Dakota Medicaid recipients for services provided after July 1, 2024. Billing team must update system to remove Medicaid cost share deductions. Update provider enrollment records in SD Medicaid Provider Enrollment Portal with current servicing addresses and billing NPI associations, and email changes to cmforms@state.sd.us. Verify PCP program participation status is accurate.
