Summary

Immediately: Billing team must update EDI Solutions portal procedures to use only the first 12 digits of the AHCCCS Claim Reference Number when uploading documentation attachments, excluding service line numbers like 001 or 002. For Behavioral Health Residential Facility services: Submit Recertification of Need every 60 days with treatment plans including 7 consecutive days of treatment notes. Ensure all documentation includes member name and AHCCCS ID on every page to prevent claim delays or denials.
