Summary
Local Education Agencies (LEAs) providing Medicaid services to children with IEPs must use a standardized cost calculation methodology and have completed cost calculation forms available for Department review. The deadline for having these forms ready has been extended from November 1, 2002 to December 1, 2002.
Action Required
By December 1, 2002: LEAs must complete standardized cost calculation forms and maintain all supporting documentation for Department review. Use the group payment differential factor when calculating costs for services provided in group settings. Forms do not need to be submitted but must be available for audit.
