Summary

Action Required
By June 1, 2003: Podiatry billing teams must stop using all state-generated 'W' codes and obsolete procedure codes. Update billing systems to use the newly opened CPT and HCPCS codes listed in the policy. Update encounter forms and EMR templates to reflect the new code mappings. Claims submitted with eliminated codes will be automatically rejected.
