Summary
The Prior Approval and Refill Too Soon hotline (1-800-252-8942) will experience downtime on October 7, 2005 due to system conversion. Providers should submit prior approval and refill-too-soon requests via the Automated Voice Response System (1-800-842-1461) or fax instead.
Action Required
On October 7, 2005: Use alternative submission methods for prior approval and refill-too-soon requests. Call Automated Voice Response System at 1-800-842-1461 or fax to 217-524-7264 and 217-524-0404 instead of the regular hotline. Download forms HFS 3082 and HFS 3082A from the Illinois HFS website if needed.
