Summary
Illinois Medicaid is increasing reimbursement rates for Maternal and Child Health (MCH) add-on payments for established and preventive care visits, effective January 1, 2006. Only enrolled MCH providers will receive these enhanced payments in addition to the base rates.
Action Required
By January 1, 2006: Illinois providers serving maternal and child health patients must sign the MCH Primary Care Provider Agreement to receive enhanced add-on payments. Billing team should verify MCH enrollment status and update fee schedules with new add-on amounts for applicable procedure codes. Agreement available at Illinois HFS website.
