Document all evaluations in resident files for Department of Public Health compliance review. For non-custom motorized wheelchair prescriptions, provide equipment directly rather than billing through DME suppliers. For custom wheelchairs, coordinate with enrolled DME suppliers for prior authorization submission to Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services.
